The Elven Padawan #3: “Zero Hour” review, part 2

Shay and her guest Evie finish up their review of the Star Wars: Rebels season 3 finale, “Zero Hour”.
First though, there’s some Star Wars news to cover, and Shay reads some comments from listeners.
Then we get into the rest of that review. We continue our obsessions over Grand Admiral Thrawn and Captain Syndulla, talk about Kallus joining the Rebellion, and who will die before it’s all over.

Marc Buhaj, senior vice president, Programming and general manager, Disney XD, said, ‚ÄúThe series creators expertly deliver an equal amount of comedy and signature Star Wars adventure into their storytelling. We‚Äôre looking forward to bringing our viewers a brand new season of galactic adventures with the Freemaker family throughout summer.‚ÄĚ

At the end of season 1, the Freemaker family Рcomposed of three siblings and their old Clone War-age battle droid, Roger Рdecided to join the Rebel Alliance and help them in their fight against the constantly more-oppressive Empire. The show is set during the time between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, and has featured appearances from various popular Star Wars characters from all over the galaxy, including Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia Organa, Lando Calrissian, Han Solo (unfortunately encased carbonite at this point), Maz Kanata, Hondo Ohnaka, Jabba the Hutt, and even Ben Quadinaros!

I have to say, as a fan of all¬†LEGO¬†Star Wars, and particularly the Freemaker family, I was very excited to see this news. However, my fangirling levels REALLY skyrocketed when–

–that certain green-skinned Rebel general (who, I must admit, has become one of my favorite¬†Star Wars characters of all time) showed up!!!

I really can’t wait for season 2 to start, and I’m sure many of my readers here can’t either! Let me know your thoughts in the comments, and be looking for more thoughts on this news in a soon-coming episode of “The Elven Padawan” podcast (now available on iTunes!)
