Captain Phasma is “Back” in new TLJ spot!

As the hype leading up to the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi continues, yet another TV spot for the film has been released, featuring our first new line from feared commander of the First Order ranks, Captain Phasma!

“So good to have you back”, indeed, Captain!

While this spot was mostly a remixed version of shots we’d seen before, we were treated to a new line from Captain Phasma, who didn’t get many moments to herself from the previous trailers. And of course, we can’t forget Chewie’s reaction to an overstimulated porg on board the Millenium Falcon!!

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is rated PG-13 for “Sequences of Sci-Fi Action and Violence”, and arrives in theaters December 15, 2017.

New Star Wars: Rebels trailer!!

Today at Fan Expo Canada, a new (and totally epic!!) trailer for the upcoming season 4 of Star Wars: Rebels was released.

Oh my goodness, the feels from this one!! I literally could not decide whether to laugh or cry…more Thrawn, Lothal, and mentions of Director Krennic and STARDUST!! And not to mention all the Kanera hints it gave!

Star Wars: Rebels season 4 will begin airing on Disney X D on October 16, starting with the episode “Heroes of Mandalore”.

(You can read more about the panel where this trailer first dropped here.)

GUEST POST!! and an explanation

“I believe in Christ like I believe in the sun – not because I can see it, but by it I can see everything else.” – C. S. Lewis, author of The Chronicles of Narnia.

I think it’s time I’m clear about something, something many of you may have picked up from my previous posts and podcast episodes: I am a Christian. The way I believe often shines through in everything I do, and I often find echoes of these beliefs in the world around me, including in my fandoms. I know of no better way to say this than to quote the creator of one of the greatest fandoms of all time, one of the fathers of modern fantasy.

“We have have come from God, and inevitably the myths woven by us, though they contain error, will also reflect a splitered fragment of the true light, the eternal truth that is with God.” – J. R. R. Tolkien, author of The Lord of the Rings.

I’ve invited one of my very good friends, Audrey, to write a guest post for this blog touching on this matter. She and I, along with tons of other fans, see our fandoms in this light, as reflecting those splintered bits of truth, and we wanted to share that view with you.

Thanks so much to you, my awesome readers, and thanks again to Audrey! 🙂
